There are also specialised holidays to be had here like tennis camp, live in Spanish courses and hotel/training packages for passing PADI licenses. These make your holiday souvenir the new skill that you take home with you. Beats a packet of mojo verde and a souvenir camel toy hands down, I'd say. :) What an excellent post Andy and stunning pictures to boot! It still holds a very special place in my heart. Next time venture into the lovely country side in that area. The Town of Teror. Bandama Crater and Arucas, just to name a few. We're keeping a close eye on the weather (not difficult at the mo) as friends may be coming up for the High Heels drag race on Friday, the highlight of carnaval for many.
